A shorter direct replacement for the Accucraft chopper.

Made in cast brass and comes as a kit of parts including spring.

The coupling is fully sprung and works fully with an Accucraft chopper. There is an undercut on the bottom of the hook so it will not disconnect and a 90 degree bob weight to help keep coupled as well. This bob weight is also used to uncouple.

The body of the coupling has a sweep to it and a little bead to finish off. Our new coupling uses a cleat for the chain instead of the 'normal' bent wire hook. The chain is hooked over the cleat parallel with the buffer and turned 90 degrees for a 100% lock.

This new chopper is about 7.5mm shorter than a standard Accucraft item. When coupled with itself, your stock will be about 15mm (5/8") closer.
