We have commissioned a UK company to make us a brand new mould for injection moulded, glass filled, black nylon wheels. These new wheels are 7 curly spoke in 20mm and 24mm and are a press fit onto a 3mm axle, (Note, the axle must be exactly 3mm, ground silver steel is best).
Here is the great part, the wheel for 32mm has a proper tread and flange for SM32 rail and the wheel for 45mm has the proper tread and flange for LGB rail. No more generic one size fits all wheel profiles! This is a first for 16mm!!
 
These wheels are standard fitment in our models fitted with nylon wheels.
