Nicely detailed riveted Tanker Wagon, suitable for 16mm, G and 7/18's scales.

We at Swift Sixteen, intend to create a new range of wagons that have a greater leaning towards sharp, crisp detail in keeping with our existing range of coaching stock. Our new tanker wagon is the second, in what we hope will be a large, comprehensive range.

As you can see from the pictures, there is a wealth of sharp detail including rivet detail, checker plate chassis top, tie bars, filler cap and couplings as standard. This wagon is made from the same tough resin as our coaches, and utilizes our popular, tried and tested steel wheels. We have tried to create a tanker that has a heavy industrial feel, but will also sit well behind the smaller electric powered diesel locomotives that are so popular on the 16mm rails. The width we have settled on is 83mm. This is a perfect width for the smaller locos, but also works for the larger, more standard steam models. This is the perfect tanker for all sorts of liquid transport, milk, oil, petrol, tar, chemicals etc.
